My recommendation of Payton Tweddale could not be any higher.  Payton's
physical ability and stats speak for themselves.  Go to www.tweddale.com/payton if
there are any questions.  He throws in the mid 80's and has three pitches.
He has NOT been overthrown and only since his junior year have we truely
incorportated his curve ball in hopes of saving his arm  for the next
level(s).  He is in good physical shape and has that lanky pitcher-type body.
Although Payton has done extremely well in Legion ball and has dominated our
league, the best thing about Payton in not his baseball ability.

Payton is a young man of integrity.  He is a leader, and he can adabpt to a
followership role as the team dictates.  He has demonstrated a winning
attitude not just during our season on game day.  He is a great preparer in
the off-season and works hard daily in practice.

Lastly, Payton has expressed to me a desire to go into the ministry after
baseball.  This may be the biggest asset he has.  Payton is mature and
balanced in his approach to life, not just baseball.  He is a great find for
whatever program he decides, whether that program involves a theology class
or a fall baseball class.  Regardless, of his choice he has Jesus Christ on
his side, and I am confident He will direct Payton just as He has in the
past.
